I was pleasantly surprised by the historical charm of the hostel building at The Mansion. The beautiful stained glass windows and sweeping wooden staircases created a unique and cozy atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, and the linen was clean. The bathrooms were well-maintained with plenty of separate shower cubicles, and I never had to wait for a shower. The kitchen space was fabulous, equipped with all the utensils I needed and even some free food and herbs. The TV room was a bonus, especially with film night on Mondays. The laundry facilities were great as well. Despite a few minor issues like occasional WiFi disconnections and the limited kitchen size, I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the hostel. I highly recommend The Mansion for its charming ambiance, friendly staff, and convenient location.

I had a three-week stay at The Mansion. The staff and residents were incredibly friendly, and the rooms and public areas were always clean. I loved that there were separate rooms for different purposes, like reading alone or socializing with others. The hostel's location near tram stops made it very convenient for getting around. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped for a hostel, and the outdoor pub downstairs had great drink deals for guests. it was a cool place with a great atmosphere and ideal location. Highly recommended!
Totally recommend this hostel.

This hostel offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and is conveniently located in the free tram zone, away from the noisy city center. You'll enjoy clean bathrooms ideal for getting ready in private, and the bar/cafe onsite serving reasonably priced food and drink specials.
Some guests mentioned squeaky bunks and floorboards due to the old, historic building, though this is to be expected.

The common areas are fantastic, great for meeting people. The building is old but clean and cozy. The kitchen is the best I've seen in a hostel. Good mix of travelers, not too party-focused. Quiet atmosphere for a good night's sleep.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, offering free breakfast and complimentary drinks upon arrival. The location was convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby restaurants. Also, the room was well-appointed with a comfortable bed and clean linens.
The noisy air conditioning unit made it difficult to sleep, and the room lacked proper sound insulation from outside noise. Additionally, the bathroom was cramped with limited storage space for personal items, and the shower was difficult to regulate with water temperature fluctuating.

The hotel facilities were great, ranging from the spacious and clean bathrooms to the well-equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils and free food, creating a cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times, providing me with detailed information not only about the hotel but also about transportation and the central location of everything, making it easy to get around the city.
Not obvious to find.
